Your pet(s) are able to stay in familiar surroundings, while being cared for by a professional pet sitter who is licensed, bonded and insured.  Pet(s) will receive plenty of love and attention while in their own home and their routine will not be disrupted.  A boarding facility can be a traumatic place for a pet.   They are exposed to unfamiliar surroundings and possible illnesses from other animals.  A pet sitter will also watch over your home, notify you if there is a problem with your house or your pet.  Additional benefits for you; we will bring in the mail and packages, alternate the lights giving your home a lived in look, take your trash to the curb on pick up day and water your plants.
Taking care of someone’s pet(s) is a huge responsibility and can be quite an imposition on a friend, relative or neighbor.  Most people are busy and may not be able to devote the time and attention your pet(s) may require.  We are licensed, bonded and insured for your peace of mind.  We are also certified in pet CPR, first aid and wound care so we are equipped to handle an emergency should one arise.  If your travel plans change, we will be available to continue to care for your pet(s) until you are able to return home.
Yes and it’s free!  The purpose of this meet and greet is to explain our policies and procedures, fill out new customer forms, get to know you and your pets and vice versa, obtain a key, get details on your pet(s) and home and answer any questions.

We accept cash, checks, American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Venmo. Note: If paying via credit card, a  small surcharge may apply.
Payment must be made in full on or before the first scheduled visit.
Gratuities are graciously accepted and appreciated and may be given directly to your sitter or added onto credit card payments.
Yes for everyone’s protection through both Pet Sitters International and Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
We will make every attempt to clean up accidents with supplies you have on hand for this purpose.  If you have no suitable supplies, we will purchase them for you and add the cost to the final bill.   Please be aware that not all accidents can be completely erased, no matter what product is used.  If you have scheduled two visits per day for your pet and we routinely find we are cleaning up feces and urine at each visit, we will begin visiting your pet(s) three times per day.  If this occurs, you will be notified and billed accordingly.
Absolutely not and there is no extra charge!  We are accustomed to administering pills, insulin injections, eye drops, ear drops and any other personal requests.
Yes, Suzi is always YOUR assigned sitter and someone you can build a long-term relation with. The only time you would have a different sitter is in the event of vacation, illness or injury to your assigned sitter.  The backup sitter will be trained and aware of all of your needs.
In general, specific visit times cannot be guaranteed.  Two visits per day are scheduled approximately twelve hours (12) apart unless otherwise agreed.  Three visits per day are scheduled approximately eight (8) hours apart.  In the case of time-sensitive medication issues, or if your pet(s) are on a set schedule, special arrangements can certainly be made.
Walks/visits cancelled with at least 48 hours notification will be converted to a monetary credit on your account to be used for future service.  Walks/visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notification are cancelled “with penalty” and cannot be refunded.  This includes returning home from a trip early without 24 hours notification.  The money cannot be refunded and credits will not be issued.
Yes we need a signed statement that you agree to allow us into your home to care for your animals, as well as one stating that you are aware of, and agree to our policies and procedures.
Yes we ask that you text or call Suzi at 404-509-1787 to confirm you returned home safely.  Emergencies arise and travels plans may change so we need to know if additional visits will be needed in addition to the original return date.  You will be billed for any additional visits.
